‘Tis the Season of Scents

The Château de la Cheyrelle was built in 1906 by the Parisian architect René Dulong and the famous Liégeois decorator Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, master of Art Nouveau.

Several years ago, we had an opportunity to visit our French cousins.  Maryse and Christophe, along with their three girls, lived in the small village of Lille, France (about an hour outside of Paris).  Being the consummate hosts, Maryse refused to let us make our beds in the morning.  She would instead ask us to turn down the duvet, and she proceeded to spray the sheets and pillows with a spritz of lavender water.  Each night, sliding into the covers felt like lying down in lavender fields – It was glorious!

That memory inspired us to create a line of linen and room sprays that evoke memories of that most wonderful visit.

With the holidays just around the corner, our linen and room sprays are the perfect hostess gift so that out of town guests can experience that same sense of pampering and serenity.

Maryse and Christophe no longer live in Lille, having purchased and renovated the charming Château de la Cheyrelle.  You should go for a visit and tell them that their American cousins sent you!

Now go and… Find your Fancy!
